This website is a library, searchable database, and community resource center for all the things from Nathan Shafer’s Denaliwood Universe: Wintermoot, Dirigibles of Denali, Non-Local, Known Ravenspace, and more. This includes a variety of media: comic books, AR/VR, videogames, short stories, audio/video, and interactive literature. 

Stories in the Denaliwood Arcade are set in an alternate history where we asked, “what if the domed cities proposed in Alaska in the 1960s and 1970s were built?” The answer is that it creates a unique set of speculative fiction fabula! Denaliwood tales draw from Alaska’s many storytelling traditions, literary punk, augmented reality, and electronic literature.

Denaliwood Arcade is an expansive and episodic undertaking that is constantly growing. We offer memberships where you can get exclusive monthly content and access to new books and games before they are released to the public.
